Since their first date at the color festival of Holi, Laura and Kiran\u2019s mutual love of Indian textiles paired with a modern touch has only been strengthening ever since. After marrying, the couple moved to California in 1980, where they began designing textiles and creating clothing which was sold nationwide. In 1993, after being primarily a clothing label for 10 years, a friend asked to cover furniture in their fabrics. This caused the company to switch to fabrics for home furnishing.<\/p>\n

The designs are inspired by old textiles found in India\u2019s bazaars and palaces, but paired with a modern flair which is so unique to the company. With each fabric design handprinted or hand dyed and woven by master craftsman, every piece is guaranteed to be special.<\/p>\n
